VanPelt Consulting is proud to partner with The Ranch TX to deliver elite, real-world law enforcement training programs in a purpose-built environment just south of San Antonio. From counter-ambush strategies to surveillance operations, these TCOLE-accredited courses are designed by operational experts and taught by seasoned instructors with decades of hands-on experience in SWAT, surveillance, firearms, and tactical response.
All training is conducted at The Ranch TX, a premier 300-acre tactical facility featuring 14 firearm ranges, the largest commercial live-fire shoot house in the U.S., a 175,000 sq. ft. urban training area, breaching campus, and on-site lodging and dining.

Two High-Speed Tactical Driving Tracks
• Track 1: 1.4-mile Worldwide Protective Services (WPS)-certified road course built to U.S. State Department standards for high-threat mobility training.
• Track 2: 1.4-mile asphalt road course replicating real-world road conditions and terrain outside the U.S.
Both tracks provide realistic high-speed driving environments for executive protection driver training, tactical mobility exercises, and real-world scenario-based training—day or night.
Off-Road & Unimproved Terrain
Master off-road mobility and terrain navigation with our 1.6-mile off-road course, designed for:

Our fully equipped auto shop supports vehicle maintenance and repairs during training.
