Introduction to Close Quarters Battle (CQB): Marksmanship, Breaching, & Tactics
A Close Quarters Battle marksmanship course designed with raid force support in mind. We have designed an 18 hour fully immersive CQB curriculum that encompasses breacher and assault force employment. Stealth, Dynamic, and Subdued Clears during the day and under the cover of night. You will experience react rooms, tactical evaluations, and more.
What you will learn:
- Pistol & Carbine Marksmanship
- Target Discretion
- Breaching in support of a raid force (Mechanical, Ballistic)
- Door Accessibility
- How to clear a structure regardless of makeup and construction
- Marking Procedures and SOP development
- Advanced Enclosure Clearing Tactics
- Working in a team (2- 12 man)
- All of the above in Low/No Light environments and MORE
Gear Needed:
- AR15 platform weapon: Sights or Optic , 3 magazines, Weapons light, and SLING.
- Pistol: with 3 magazines and light
- Gun Belt: Pistol holster, Dump pouch, IFAK w/tourniquet, Magazine pouches for respective weapons (Rec. 3 of each)
- Helmet: with ability to mount NVG: Can be bump, does NOT have to be ballistic.
- PPE: Gloves ( Like Mechanix), Ear protection, Eye Protection: ANSI Z87.1+ high-velocity protection (Clear and shaded)
- Water Source
- Note Taking Gear
- Appropriate Clothing: Long Pants, Long Sleeves, Rec. Hoodie or thick jacket, close toed shoes
- 450 Rounds of Rifle ammo
- 300 rounds of Pistol ammo
Highly Recommended Optional Gear:
- NVG: Highly Recommended not required. This will allow us to go in depth with stealth clears. If you don’t have this, it’s not a deal breaker. We will go white light.
- Plate Carrier: To be able to set up your gear more efficiently.
- Weapons Catch: To be able to carry breaching gear and participate as breacher.
